Wisdom Enhanced Change

We do three basic types of research: cutting edge research, research to verify what someone else has done,  and research into anomalies, all within the scope of physics and technology.

Anyone.  We strongly believe that everyone should be given an opportunity to ask questions and come up ideas for us to research.

There is no formal process for making a suggestion.  Many people do it by email, a phone call, or in person.  There is no cost to make a suggestion.  It does help if suggestions are more specific and detailed.  As you can imagine our research covers a wide range of topics and the volunteer who reads the suggestion may not always be an expert in that specific field.

The first step is to see: what other research being done on the idea (research dollars are scarce and we don't want to reinvent the wheel), is there research that has been done on the idea but has not been independently verified or proven, or does the idea pose an anomaly.  The second step is to determine the value of researching the idea to mankind and the environment.  Ideas that have greater potential to do more good are moved to the top of the list.  Finally we look at funding.  Can we get funding to do a certain project.  Some projects are of such vital importance that the Institute will self fund while others are funded through grants.

No, but that is our main focus.  We are also developmental technologists.  We look to the world around us and to the past for inspiration.

One definition, three reasons:

anomaly - n. any occurrence or object that is strange, unusual, or unique

  • Some anomalies, with further research, may provide scientific breakthroughs in our understanding and modeling of the universe in which we live
  • Many people ask questions and submit ideas about anomalies.  By their very nature an anomaly is something that is not understood and, whether it is ultimately proven true or false, good can come of research into them.
  • Sometimes anomalies can be just plain fun!
